Objectives

1. Participants will recognize patients with co-occurring psychiatric illness as a special population receiving SUD treatment.

2. Participants will describe at least 3 common co-occurring psychiatric illnesses experienced by patients with SUD.

3. Participants will identify at least 2 common treatment complications of patients with co-occurring mental illness and SUD.

4. Participants will indicate at least 2 management strategies to improve SUD treatment for patients with co-occurring mental illness.
