A drop-in session open to recovery coaches around the country. Includes a short presentation on a pertinent topic related to substance use disorder, recovery or coaching, followed by time for discussion and networking.

Recovery Coach Chat Live is a dedicated space for recovery coaches and peer advocates providing direct support to clients/patients in the field of addiction.

Description

This drop-in session is open to recovery coaches around the country. It will begin with a short presentation of a pertinent topic related to SUD, recovery and/or coaching, followed by time for Q&A, a chance for participants to get input and support on challenging cases, and an opportunity to network with fellow recovery coaches.

The topic for this month's session is: Meeting People Where They Are: Harm Reduction & Recovery 

This chat will be guided by Paul Bowman who is an advocate, a Peer Recovery Coach with South End Community Health Center and the Massachusetts Chapter Director for the National Alliance for Medication Assisted (NAMA) Recovery.
