The Center of Excellence for Protected Health Information (CoE-PHI) will host a 90 minute virtual presentation on October 13th from 3:30PM – 5:00PM EST that will provide an overview of federal privacy laws (including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2) as they relate to the provision of Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).  Recent amendments to 42 CFR Part 2, as well as changes likely forthcoming through the CARES Act in 2021 will also be discussed, with ample time built in for Q & A. In addition, participants will be introduced to resources and technical assistance available through the CoE-PHI.
