A drop-in session open to recovery coaches around the country. Includes a short presentation on a pertinent topic related to substance use disorder, recovery or coaching, followed by discussion.

Recovery Coach Chat Live is a dedicated space for recovery coaches and peer advocates providing direct support to clients/patients in the field of addiction.

Description

Recovery Coach Chat Live is open to recovery coaches around the country.

September's Recovery Coach Chat Live will be a follow-up discussion to the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Virtual Recovery Month Kickoff Event, "Developing an Anti-Racist Recovery Movement: Deconstructing and Challenging Current Policies and Practices" with co-presenters Ayana Jordan, MD, PhD, and Tracie M. Gardner.

The Recovery Coach Chat Live session will offer recovery coaches and peer advocates a space to continue this important conversation and will be guided by Louray Barton of STEPRox Recovery Support Center and Latisha Goullaud of the Moms Do Care Program at Lynn Community Health Center.

We strongly encourage everyone to register in advance for the MGH event to ensure you are able to join!
