A Resource for Healthcare and Social Services Professionals
Danna is the coordinator and co-facilitator of Boston Medical Center's OBAT Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) programs. She interfaces with community health centers, health care professionals, specialists, and OBAT staff to ensure the operations of the tele-mentoring clinics with BMC experts. Danna has been managing nonprofit programming for over 20 years. She previously worked with youth and families in under-resourced communities in Chicago and also served as a clinician in a community health center, working with youth, couples, and families. Danna has also provided clinical and psychosocial support to refugees from Sudan, Iraq, Ethiopia, and Eritrea in Cairo, Egypt. Danna holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, and a Graduate Diploma in Forced Migration and Refugee Studies from The American University in Cairo.
